The Importance of our Great-Grandmothers is a series of five dialogue guides, plus an introductory guide, created to support Indigenous women’s discussions about their connections with the land and about how these connections form a source of law and authority.
These guides include a series of questions that Indigenous women and gender diverse people can use to start discussions on their land use practices, rights, and laws. Each guide also contains background information to provide examples and context to support discussion.
